As you may or may not know, as of 10am this morning Liquor licensing Sales in store AND online have introduced a limit of customers ordering no more than three bottles of wine per day.
Larry Jorgensen the CEO of Wines of WA has been in discussion with the Minister for Racing Gaming and Liquor outlining the significant negative impact this will have on WA producers. He has been informed that this is being reconsidered but a decision will not be available until tomorrow at the earliest.
Wines of WA is working with Regional Associations to ensure that common sense is applied in this instance.
As per the above, this could be overruled tomorrow, so let’s hope that common sense will prevail.
Please find the notice from the Director General of Liquor Licensing and supporting Liquor Control Notice here.
Given the circumstances our community is currently facing, we appreciate that the Director and Minister Papalia gave due consideration to wine industry concerns to ensure appropriate action was taken to provide a workable solution in a very short time-frame.

Willoughby Park Cabernet Sauvignon
Lifted aromas of blueberry, sweet spice and a hint of herbaceous. A well-structured wine showing flavours of red berry fruit and soft tannins on a long finish.
