Jamie & Charli hail from Denmark pioneering families of several generations and live just down the hill and around the corner from Willoughby Park. Popular young locals, businessman Jamie, has a connection to the property and is often seen (some would say loitering!) around the winery. Since the opening of our Boston Brewery, he can be seen with a constant smile on his face. Jamie is a key promoter of Jamie & Charli in the Great Southern and beyond.
Jamie's partner our glamorous Charli, now at home with the baby, was a familiar sight around Denmark in her work as a policewoman. We agreed with the photographer that for now we should keep Charli under cover!
Jamie & Charli are the fun faces to the serious business of getting the best into the bottle.
Willoughby Park winery is the home to Jamie & Charli, wines which are vibrant, food friendly, delightful. Our philosophy is simple: the right varieties from the right regions for the right reasons.
Two varieties from Great Southern karri country which are just meant to be together. A vibrant nose of lifted fresh gooseberry and asparagus from the Sauvignon Blanc and the Semillon shows more delicate fresh cut straw with citrus. A real mouthful of fruit, gooseberries, citrus - simply loads of flavour and freshness. Great with your local white fish, marinated mussels, creamy chicken or as a fantastic aperitif. Enjoy!
Look for aromas of gooseberries and capsicum moving into a full fruit palate with appealing softness and the Jamie & Charli trademark fresh crispness to finish. We like it with Tassie grilled salmon or the seafood of your choice, very nice with an Antipasto plate.

White peach aromas with a touch of pineapple and crisp apples. On the palate you can really taste the fruit! Lively, mouthfilling and upfront continuing through the middle with good tight acid freshness. Terrific food wine; team with white meats - and it will handle a little spice - leaving the palate fresh.

Speaks of soft blackberries and plums leading to just a touch of toasty American oak. It is soft, round and delicious to share with friends over a cheese plate, with lamb dishes or jolly good with a traditional pasta dish - don't forget to use it in the pasta sauce too. A lovely wine to simply drink on its own.

It's generous and it's well crafted - taste the blackberry and cherry fruit with hints of cigar box and leather. All this flavour is gently finished with vanillin oak characters. It is really food friendly, from simple spaghetti bolognese through to a herbed lamb rump with elegant green salad. Great with a nice big lump of best Aussie cheddar.

Aromas of orange peel and grape fruit over passion fruit and gooseberries. In the mouth, ripe white peach flavours. Trademark stamp of the Riesling gives lemon and grapefruit, and from the Viognier, a real orange peel twist. The mouthfeel of this wine is one of pleasurable sensations, rounded and long on the palate.

With loads of sweet upfront fruit there are gorgeous flavours of ripe red cherries and strawberries, some typical earthy flavours with a hint of spicy barrel character. This is a Pinot that gives very generously and is a great choice by Jamie.

Oh so fresh! Aromas of lemon/citrus over green peas and grassy herbaceousness. The palate reflects the exceptional nose and is long and full. This wine simply creates a wonderful lingering mouthful finishing with palate cleansing freshness. A fantastic aperitif on a summer’s evening or serve with local white fish, marinated mussels and creamy chicken dishes.

In classic Great Southern style! Citrus freshness on the nose promising the fresh flavours of lemons and limes overlaid with a hint of orange. The palate is generous with fruit character, dry and crisp leaving the mouth refreshed and clean. There is nothing better than freshly shucked oysters with Riesling, failing that suitable for serving with white meats and seafoods, especially good balance for rich creamy sauces.
